🚨 Kind Reminder: Respect Dog Walking Boundaries

Seeing a cute dog on a walk is heartwarming, but it’s important to respect boundaries for everyone’s safety and peace of mind:

🐾 Why it matters: Dogs need focused, distraction-free walks for both physical and mental well-being. Sudden interactions—even well-meaning ones—can cause anxiety or defensive behavior. Some dogs may be in training, working through behavioral issues, or recovering from injury.

🐾 Best practice: The kindest way to support walkers and their dogs is to keep moving without stopping or trying to engage. Avoid slowing down or calling out from cars, as this can startle both dog and walker.

🐾 Waste etiquette: Always pick up after your dog to prevent the spread of disease. Many dogs have conditions like Pica, which make them vulnerable to what’s left behind.

Thank you for helping create a safe, respectful environment for dogs, walkers, and everyone in the community!
