About:

Kit has never been interested in keeping her love for animals small. While her three cats, Asher, Little Bit and Tybalt, currently run the household, her sights are set on an even bigger future with farm animals. She enjoys learning about both small and large animal science and has a genuine curiosity for understanding the animals around her. Kit is patient by nature, quick to laugh and happiest when a pet decides she has officially earned a spot in their inner circle. Outside of pet care, she can usually be found with a good fantasy read, at a music festival or dreaming about the animals she hopes to work with next.

Kit takes time to learn the details that make each pet’s routine their own. From schedules and household instructions to favorite comforts and individual quirks; she wants to know what helps each pet feel at ease. Clients have highlighted her communication, responsiveness, regular photo updates, along with the bonds she forms with their pets. Through Fur Babies Pet Sitting, Kit provides personalized in-home care in the Burlington area with the goal of making time apart a little easier for pets and their people.

Kit stayed for a week with our beautiful Great Pyrenees, Bear. Before we left Kit made extra efforts to come early and get to know Bear. Bear took right away to Kit, which was pretty impressive. Kit also took Bear on walks to familiarize herself with her route. When we left on vacation, Kit sent us pictures and gave us constant updates on our baby every day, she even grabbed our mail and offered to clean our floors after it rained and Bear left some paw prints. At the end of the week Kit washed all her linens, folded and placed them neatly on the bed she used during her stay. I will definitely be using Kit again in the future! We’d searched for an in-home pet sitter for a while with so many just not working. Once we found Kit with Fur Babies, we knew it was the perfect fit. We’ve had Kit stay with our dog several times now and she’s great. Takes excellent care of our fur baby, provides frequent updates and pics, and takes great care of our house while we’re away too! It’s hard to find someone you can trust in your home with your pets but Fur Babies has been great for us. 5 stars all the way!
