Community Relief Efforts

“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” – Coretta Scott King

Organized by Fur Babies Pet Sitting by Mikayla, LLC

We’re rallying support to help our neighbors in North Carolina who need it most.

Through this fundraiser, we are raising funds to:

🛒 Purchase Emergency Food & Supply Kits – Help us deliver essential items to families and individuals facing sudden hardship, including shelf-stable food, hygiene products, and basic care packages.

🏔️ Provide Relief in the NC Mountains – Many mountain communities are isolated and underserved. Your donation helps us get emergency aid to remote areas affected by economic strain and natural disasters.

🐾 Support Local Animal Rescues – We’re also assisting with local shelters and rescues to supply food, bedding, and medical care for abandoned or at-risk animals.

As a small, local business, Fur Babies Pet Sitting by Mikayla, LLC is deeply rooted in service. This effort is about more than pets—it's about compassion and community.

Every dollar you give goes directly to supplies, shelter support, and delivering emergency relief where it’s needed most.

📦 Help us fill a kit, feed a shelter, and uplift NC families.

Thank you for being part of this mission. Please donate or share today!

Our mission is to furnish meals, warm beds, veterinary care, and love for the abandoned and abused animals that we shelter. We will find responsible loving homes for as many of these animals as possible. Through humane education, and special programs for children, we will reduce the number of animals abused and abandoned in our community. Through spay/neuter education and by altering all the animals we adopt out, we will reduce the number of unwanted animals born in our community.
