Kristina’s world has never been limited to cats and dogs. Horses, rats, birds, bearded dragons and plenty of other animals have found their way into her life over the years. Her experiences have included working at a petting zoo, leading trail rides and serving as a docent at a science center. She has also volunteered with HorsePower Therapeutic Horsemanship, adding another chapter to a life that has frequently kept animals close by.

Her curiosity extends beyond the animal world. Kristina earned both a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Her education and varied professional experiences have given her a background rooted in creativity, communication, learning and connecting with others.

When it comes to animals, Kristina enjoys discovering what makes each one an individual. A horse, cat, rat and bearded dragon may communicate very differently, but each has their own preferences, routines and personality to learn. At home, Kristina jokingly considers herself the resident human servant to her own pets, and she takes that position very seriously.

Now, Kristina brings her varied experiences to Fur Babies Pet Sitting. She offers personalized Drop In Visits, Dog Walking and Overnight Housesitting, along with select additional services. Her familiarity with animals of many shapes and sizes can also be especially valuable for households whose family extends beyond traditional dogs and cats.
