As the weather warms, so does the risk of heat stroke in pets. This infographic helps explain this. Another way to check if it is safe for a walk, is to place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7-10 seconds. If it hurts your hand, it WILL hurt your pet to walk on it. Pet shoes can help with this, but not all are accustomed to this type of apparel. There are lots of ways you can tailor your pet's day to best suit them according to the weather.
