Overnight Pet Care Service Price & Drop In Visit Average Rates

We understand that professional pet care can seem like a big expense, and we want to help shed light on why our rates are what they are—and why they offer incredible value. Our overnight services require full dedication and responsibility for your pet's wellbeing, safety, and comfort for a continuous 24-hour period. Here’s a deeper look at what goes into those hours:

Hourly Coverage: If we were paid minimum wage for 12 daytime hours, it would come out to about $87. The next 12 hours, while technically “overnight,” still involve caring for your pets, whether we’re walking, feeding, or comforting them through any nighttime anxiety. All told, that’s a full 24-hour commitment, not just daytime hours at a desk—and if we’re applying even minimum wage, the total would easily reach around $174.

We do not charge that much.

Additional Costs and Investments: Beyond just the hours we spend with your pets, we have costs you may not see: taxes, insurance, bonding, marketing, and travel, as well as certification programs, continuing education, and years of experience. All of these add up to a level of professionalism and security you can trust.

Rates in Context: Compared to the average $34.75 per 30-minute drop-in visit in High Point, NC, or the average $13.94 per hour for sitters in our area, our 24-hour overnight rate reflects the time, care, and dedication that full-day pet care requires—making it a very fair rate for top-quality care.

We get it—many are budgeting carefully, and we’re here to work with you as best as we can. But we want to ensure you’re getting real value for what you’re investing in: peace of mind, knowing your fur baby is loved and cared for by experienced professionals. Thank you for considering our services as a worthy investment in your pet’s happiness and safety.
